12-12-12 Reminder

If you are doing the "12 on the 12th in 2012" project, today is the last day to take 12 (or more) photos!  Congratulations to you if you have managed to keep up with this project for all 12 months this year!

Here's an idea if you have a Christmas tree - I shared this back in January HERE.  Take  a photo of the tree and crop it to a square to use as the background of your page for a digital layout.  You could use the photo to create a collage for your Christmas card next year.

I take so many photos all of the time that I sort of lost the motivation to do the special 12 on the 12th groups.  I looked back to January and found the first set of twelve photos that I took HERE.  It was fun to see this photo of one of the trees on our deck in the rain.  We put up the outdoor lights at our house last weekend and it rained Sunday night so I have a December photo which is nearly identical to this January one!

I know at least one of my readers is celebrating a birthday today - Happy Birthday Ann!  What a special date to remember.  Make sure you make a wish at 12:12 pm - that will be 12-12-12-12-12!

I am at my Dad's in Pennsylvania and will be here for a couple of days.  I appreciate all of your kind thoughts and prayers for him.  I hope that his medical issues will be sorted out soon so he can get back to his own apartment.

  1. Love how the wet deck reflects the lights of the tree on it. Enjoy you stay with your dad! Hope he is feeling better everyday.

  2. Thanks Diane for the software link for the Silhouette Cameo, I haven't taken the plunge yet but I'm heading in that direction. I love the detailed intricate cuts that you've shown. I can't get this with any of my bugs so I know I'll jump on in real soon. Happy Holiday to you and your family.
