Simple Candy Cane Project

Three candy canes, some twist ties and some ribbon will make this cute "easel" holder for a card or small project.  I posted the directions  HERE (if you missed it the first time around).  The idea came from an old issue of the Family Fun magazine.

These would also look cute with photographs - particularly if you have some "visit with Santa" photos.

I recently found some nice plastic twist candy canes at the dollar store and when I get back to my craftroom I am planning to use these to make a longer lasting version of the card holder.

Have you finished your holiday shopping?  How about wrapping?  My goal is always to be done early but there have been many Christmas Eve wrapping sessions at our house!  I'll be with my Dad for a couple of days and then home to try to pull everything together before everyone arrives for  Christmas.
