Christmas Decorations

Even though I want to be in the craftroom (especially after being away on a trip) I have spent a good part of the last couple of days cleaning and decorating for Christmas.  My new computer finally arrived and I haven't even had a chance to take it out of the box!  I made a lot of progress today and I hope that we'll be able to finish up the outside lights Saturday morning.

I've only taken a few photos of the decorations so far - if you are a Facebook friend you may have seen them.  After moving every few years for a good part of my adult life it is nice to be settled down - we have been here 12 years now.  This makes it easier to decorate each year because I have already figured out where to put things (with a few variations each year).

I'll post some photos when everything is finished but if you'd like to see some older photos you can click HERE for a short tour.  If you are curious about the upside down tree, there are a couple of photos HERE that show how it is assembled.

The Santa at the top of this post was made by my brother many years ago - it is one of my favorite holiday decorations.  This poinsettia lampshade is another example of the amazing work he and his partner do at Century Studios in St. Paul, Minnesota.

We have lots of events this weekend but I hope to get nearly everything finished before I go to Pennsylvania next week.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!  Happy Hanukkah!
