Multilayered Christmas Ornament

When I make a new design, I often find myself adding layers and layers to create a thick multicolored object.  This tree ornament that I made last year is a perfect example.  The multiple layers of cardstock are perfect for tree ornaments because they end up at a nice sturdy weight for hanging.  In the Silhouette software it is very simple to take away parts of an image to create a blackout so the colors will vary in each layer of the design.

These are the four layers for this ornament. The top layer is my favorite DCWV Dazzle cardstock.

When the ornament hangs on the tree it really catches the light.  You can read the original post about this ornament HERE.

I'll be home soon - and I'll try to do a few tutorials to show you how to make a similar ornament.
