Photo tips for Christmas Lights

For quite a while I have been having issues with my laptop and last month I finally decided it was time to replace it.  I ordered the new computer online and it took a couple of weeks to arrive.  Now I am in the midst of setting up the computer and learning Windows 8.  The excitement over getting a new laptop is tempered by the amount of work it takes to switch everything over.  I know it will be great once I get everything set up.

In the meanwhile, family commitments, holiday preparations and a new project I am working on have been taking up most of my time.  Thanks for your patience as I get everything back into balance again.

I thought I'd share a link back to a post I made last year about taking photos in natural light - and the usefulness of a tripod.  Click HERE to go to the post.  I hope you find some helpful tips!

We hope to get the outside lights set up on Sunday - there was too much rain today.  We drove by one of our local "crazy lights" houses on the way home from our nephew's birthday party.  I may try to get back there to take a few photos - I can't imagine how long it takes them to set everything up!

  1. Dear Diane -
I feel your pain/joy at getting a new computer. I am in the midst of changing over everything and for the time being have "lost" a few files. They WILL turn up, but where, oh where are they hiding?
Thank you so much for all your thoughtful Cricut vs Cameo posts. They have been very imformative.
    Happy Christmas from ScrapperQ
