Snowflakes will be falling...

Happy December!  Is it snowing yet where you live?  If you have been reading my blog a long time you know that snowflakes are one of my favorite things.

Snowflakes make such pretty decorations and it is simple to take a flat snowflake, cut multiple copies of the shape and put them together to create a three dimensional ornament.  I thought I'd share a link back to this post showing all of the snowflakes that can be made with the 'Tis the Season Cricut cartridge.  This cartridge is on the "while supplies last" and it is one of my favorite Christmas cartridges.

Some snowflake shapes will be easier to make into ornaments than others.  This photo shows all of the layered snowflakes on the cartridge.  There are a number of other cartridges with snowflakes, so if you don't have this cartridge you can try making the ornament with any shape that you have.

You'll find all of the directions for turning a snowflake into an ornament at THIS POST.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Here in Tennessee we get more ice than snow. I love snowflakes too though and I always delight in the ones you share.

  3. No snowflakes in my part of Colorado--yet--but that is just giving us a little extra time to get the Christmas decorations out! I had forgotten the snowflake cut on this cart, but I sense that some new flakes are in my future. Thanks for the reminder!
