One of the companies exhibiting at CHA was a new (less than two years old) stamp company from Scotland called Ladybug Crafts Ink. They had a lot of very cute stamps and great samples. We all found one other aspect of their booth very interesting - the decorations were all done with the Cricut - mostly good old original George! Mandy and Enfys had fun choosing some stamps for Mandy to carry at Scrappy-Go-Lucky. Be sure to watch out for these - I am not sure how long it will take until they are in stock but they are worth the wait.
The ladybugs are from Doodlecharms - lots of different sizes everywhere. I am not sure off the top of my head which cartridge has these leaf clusters - it will be great to be able to search things out better on the new Cricut Craft Room site.
There were so many adorable cards - the coloring was well done and the images just make you smile! This is not my "usual" type of card but I am planning on expanding my horizons a bit this year. I took lots of photos of the samples (with the owner's permission) so I thought I'd share those photos to give you a some inspiration and to show you the stamps. My fingers are itching to get out the ProMarkers and start coloring - maybe tomorrow...
Thanks for all of the kind comments, prayers and good wishes on Tuesday. The surgery went well and in a few weeks I should be able to tell if it has had the desired results. I have been resting up and taking it easy. For the first time in a long while I didn't even go into my craft room today - I'll be back there tomorrow!
