Happy St. Patrick's Day (card topper)

St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner - but there is still time to send a card (or make one to hand deliver). Here is a card topper for a 5 x 7 card I made using Storybook and Plantin Schoolbook. I did not make this adjustable - but it could be done (I just didn't have time and it fits the 5 x 7 format quite nicely).

If you don't have Plantin Schoolbook, you could try another font, using the letter placement from my file as a guide. Remember to "burp" the file by selecting the clover frame and clicking "copy" - "delete" - "paste" after you have added all of the new letters. Then preview the file on the blank preview page to be sure that it will cut properly.

I used the "Tall Ball" feature for the letters - the "k" is a bit unusual in this variation of the font. If you find it hard to read you could change just that letter to the regular font. I used "Tall Ball" because it makes the letters taller and thinner so they would fit more comfortably in the frame.

Here you can see another card topper with the regular "k" substituted. I will post this file tomorrow, so be sure to check back for it.

Here is one more photo of the card topper on white - I think it will look great with some Stickles glitter glue added to make it sparkle! I didn't have time to try that today. Maybe tomorrow I will be able to finish the card.
