A Day of Rest...

In the past couple of weeks I have been on five airplanes, taken a thirteen hour train journey, driven several hundred miles and visited relatives in three different places.  Sunday was my first day back home and I needed to take some time to relax!

Coming up this week...

Quite a few people have asked me to explain more about using digital scrapbook kits with a die cutting machine.  I will be doing a series of posts this week showing how to make the most of your digital supplies for both print and cut and paper cutting projects.

There are also a few sales going on right now if you want to add to your digital supplies.

Lettering Delights  has a quick Dollar Day sale that ends on Wednesday.  All products are $1 (or $2 for cut-it sets).  New products are added regularly and I see quite a few sets that I am planning to pick up in the sale.

Lettering Delights  is also offering a special collection that you can earn for free - just spend $12 by the end of the month and the Conscientiously Collection will be added to your library.  The collection includes seven sets and would normally sell for $27.

The Cut-It sets contain files in a variety of formats that work with most cutting machines.  (The formats are .ai, .dxf, .eps, .gsd, .pdf, and .svg .  You can use these files with the new Cricut Explore but they don't work with the older Cricut machines unless you have a third party software such as Make the Cut or Sure Cuts A Lot that was purchased prior to the lawsuits that required the ability to cut with a Cricut to be removed from these programs).

All digital content in the Panstoria store is on sale for 30% off through the end of March.

Panstoria has a variety of digital products from Cottage Arts, pixels2Pages, Kaisercraft, Little Feet Digital Designs, and Simply Kelly Designs.  Panstoria has reached a new agreement with Creative Memories and they will continue to sell the digital content that was formerly sold by Creative Memories through the end of 2014 (the original agreement was to end in March).

Some of my favorite digital kits are older kits from the Creative Memories content.  The page above is one that I did for the Layout A Day (LOAD) Challenge in February where the prompt was to use some older supplies for a new page.  The kit is called "Starry Night."

You need the StoryBook Creator 4 or Artisan 4 software to use this digital content.  If you have either of these programs you can save individual pieces of the content to use for other projects.  Click HERE to see the digital products and shop. No coupon code is required - the prices in the store have been reduced to reflect the sale prices.

The photo at the top of this post is from my sister and brother-in-law's Bed & Breakfast.  They have a wonderful place full of interesting objects and I think the use of this vintage pot for coffee filters just brings a bit of charm into an everyday task - they make a lot of coffee when the house is full of guests!

  1. Whew, you have been traveling a lot! Welcome back, and enjoy your rest!

You obviously have very creative genes in your family. Your sister's use of the pretty blue leaf container to hold coffee holders in her B&B is very clever, and pretty!
