On the Road Again...

We have arrived at my Dad's - and I am having some internet and computer problems but I should be able to work things out tomorrow.  In the meanwhile, I thought I'd share a few photos from today.

I grew up in Pennsylvania, east of Philadelphia, and my Dad still lives in Bucks County.  There is a bridge between Pennsylvania and New Jersey that has had a sign saying "Trenton Makes The World Takes" ever since I can remember!  You can see it clearly when you cross the Delaware on the Route 1 bridge.  I usually am making the drive on my own, so I can't take a photo.  Tonight, my husband was driving so I tried a quick shot through the car window.  Unfortunately, I cut off the last "s" but I now have a photo for a scrapbook - lots of memories of those trips back and forth!

As you all know I am fairly obsessed with numbers and patterns and as we were driving along I realized that the odometer was going to reach an interesting number.  Once again, as a passenger, I was able to snap a photo - I wonder where I will be when it says 56789?

We stopped at a rest area in New Jersey and saw a "odd couple" - one of the biggest and smallest dogs I've seen.  The "Mom" says that the little dog is the bossy one and makes the (very) large dog behave.  I asked if I could take a photo of the pair - I just had to share!

So tomorrow is the reunion - I'll try to post an actual craft item later in the day.  I hope you are all having a good weekend, and yes, my cold is starting to get better - thank goodness!
