The end of a busy week...and a little gift

It was quite a challenge to keep up with daily posts on two blogs this past week!  I had fun sharing Valentine's Day projects with you here and on the Everyday Cricut blog and I want to welcome all of you that are new subscribers and followers. I have a lot more projects that weren't quite "ready for their closeup" and these will be appearing here soon.

In just a couple of weeks I'll be in Los Angeles for CHA (the Craft and Hobby Association Winter Convention and Trade Show).   I am looking forward to meeting in person many of the people I know only through the internet.  I'll be with the Scrappy-Go-Lucky team and I know we will have a great time.  If you will be at CHA or the Cricut Circle event please let me know so we can try to meet.  I am looking forward to some warmer weather since we seem to be in a deep freeze here in Massachusetts!

Enfys, one of my fellow Design Team members (and an amazingly talented and funny person) is having a blog party to celebrate some milestones on her blog, Going Buggy.  If you are not familiar with Enfys and her work already you really should visit her and see her fabulous cards and other projects.  She also has some great prizes that she is giving away as a part of the celebration.

As I was creating a lot of the projects you saw last week, I set aside some extra bits and pieces.  I also cut some duplicates of the Cricut cuts I used.  I have put together a little bundle of goodies that I'd like to share with one of my readers.  You can comment once on each post from last Monday (the 10th) to this Sunday, the 16th, for a chance to win (for a total of up to seven comments) .  If your name is chosen, I will send you a package with everything you need to make the two cards I showed on Monday, along with a set of red glitter vinyl "x" and "o" cuts for your own Tic Tac Toe game (sorry, no frames included).  I'll also send a 6 x 18 inch piece of the red fuzzy contact paper that I used this week for you to cut your own words and images.  You can comment up until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, the 16th, and I'll post the winner on  Monday.

Many of the items I used in my projects came from Creative Charms.  As a member of the Design Team, I enjoy working with these products and I find they are often the perfect finishing touch to my card or other project.  There are quite a few designers on the team and we post on the Creative Charms blog regularly.  There is  a chance for you to win some great kits from Creative Charms - all  you need to do become is to become a follower of the Creative Charms blog and leave a comment on the blog at THIS POST.  You have until Sunday night to comment.

I will do my best to catch up with emails, questions and comments on Saturday - but first I need to catch up on some sleep!

  26. I am fairly new to your blog, but it has come to mind that you either must be VERY organized or have the messiest craft room ever.
Either way your projects are wonderful and I will continue to come back for new great ideas. Many thanks.

  27. Your instructions are always so clear and your idea's are always well thought out and thorough. Thank you for the time you spend to help all of us. Today I created a gift box and then a card using the waste, I nearly threw it in the bin but then thought of you. Here is a link I would love for you to have a look and even a little giggle at what it was made for.

  37. I always learn something from your blog. I like your explanations, esp.; Design Studio. I wish I lived closer to someone who could teach me to use Design Studio, Creative memories scrapbook program and picture manager. Sorry, I don't remember the names of the progams. I bought them and have never used them. what a waste!

I don't have DS, but I do have the Gypsy and can work the designs in the same manner. TFS your amazing talent with us!
