Adjustable Scalloped Circles

Several weeks ago, I had a request from a reader for help with creating scalloped circles. I had done two different 2.5 inch versions with varying numbers of scallops quite a while ago (here is the LINK to that post).

The twist this time was to make the file an "adjustable" one. With quite a bit of nudging (and frequent intermediate "save as" files for protection in case the nudge keys went crazy again) I was able to produce a scalloped circle file in George.

I have cut this in a few sizes and I noticed that the smaller the size of the circle, the more likely the scallops are to be a bit "off" (at least on my machine). I would be curious to hear from anyone who tries the file to see if this happens on other machines as well.

  1. OMGosh! Your timing couldn't be more perfect. I started looking for this file last night because the kids want to make the Peppermint Patty Spiders we saw on SCS... but we don't have the scalloped punch.

    Thanks so much!

  5. This is too cool. I love the idea of sizing it to the size you want, makes for easy layering. Thanks for all your hard work.

  6. Thanks so much for sharing! I have wanted Nestabilities for forever but couldn't justify it with owning the cricut software. I know this is probably a stupid question, and you have probably already answered it, but how do you take multiple images (like the scallop circles) and then put the image into one scallable object? I can't figure out how to do that. I had already created scallop squares/rectagles but couldn't figure out how to grab the "whole" object.
    Thanks,

  7. I just saw your adjustable scallope file and have to try it. I'll try it and see if there are any that are off, but I doubt it. You are a great designer. Thanks for your generosity in sharing your files.
