April Fool's Day!

Happy April!  Did anyone put salt in your sugar bowl (or sugar in the salt shaker)?  It didn't really snow again here - did I fool you with this photo?

Just a quick note this morning - I am busy getting some non-crafty projects finished here but I wanted to share a LINK to this article from Forbes.com.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/tjmccue/2014/03/31/3d-printing-may-be-the-future-cricut-explore-is-now/

I thought this was an interesting review of the direction Provocraft is taking with the new Explore machine, the Design Space and the whole "maker" movement (here is another LINK to an article about the maker culture from 2013).

Do you think of yourself as a "maker" or a "crafter"?

I hope you have a wonderful day - with no April Fool's pranks pulled on you!

  1. Hi Diane, happy April fools day to you. As I was backing out of my garage this morning I had the remote in my hand and accidently pressed the button and the door closed on my rear window as I was driving out. What a mess a shattered window campn make. Not to mentioned the sound scarde the heck out of me. This is no April fool prank! Today is my lovely daughters birthday, she is also pregnant and seven days overdue, maybe history will repeat itself and little Zachary will be born today. I cannot wait to hold him. I loved your blog today, and read the article... What's this about "Crafting is no longer limited to grandma" nonsense lol. Have a great day.
