Angel ATCs

The theme last month for my Artist Trading Card (ATC) swap group was "Angels."  ATCs are often far more "arty" but the past few that I have made have been based on Cricut cuts and leaning more to the "cute" side.

One of the things I like to do with Design Studio is to try different variations on an idea for a card.  I was determined to find something I could use for this card that was on a cartridge that I owned but hadn't used yet.

I got this cartridge in the Black Friday sales and I am happy to say that I finally used it.  Can you guess which cartridge I used?  I did end up cutting some extra layers to get the look I wanted for my cards.

My Tuesday went a little differently than I had planned so I'll have to write up all of the details later today or tonight.  It looks like we are getting more snow Wednesday night - this isn't funny anymore!

  1. Maybe your angels just like all that white fluffy stuff?? Just close your eyes and rock back and forth and pretend you are back on the ship! Here's wishing you much SUNSHINE!!

  2. I hope everything is OK with you. I believe that cut is from Once Upon a Princess. It is a cart I've never used though.

I'm doing a post today about my favorite 5 blogs and why. You will be in the top 5.

  3. Very cute! The first thing that came to mind was Paper Pups Cartridge. I don't know why it popped into my head. Hope all is well.

  5. You're still struggling with snow & we're already teetering on 90 degree weather. It really stinks, we went straight from winter to summer! I so wish I could send the heat up your way.

  9. I love this ATC. I just did my first ones. I just hope my swap group likes them.
Because you said it was a Black Friday cart, I'm going to guess this Angel came from Twinkle Toes.
Stay warm and dry. Here in Montana, our snow has come and gone...hopefully for a week.

  10. I believe it is from Inspired Heart. Your cards turned out very lovely. The embossing in the background looks like clouds.

  11. I haven't done any ATGs yet but I love them. Yours is really cute and I believe it came from the Once Upon a Princess cart.

Sorry a bout the bad weather. I am in Dallas today and we have been having 80 degree weather. Good for now but not sure if I am going to like this summer.
