Beautiful Butterfly

I hope you are having a great holiday weekend - we are continuing on the rounds of graduation parties and enjoying the chance to catch up with family and friends.  Hot weather has finally arrived in New England - it's been in the 80's here.

Last week I showed you this stack of intricate butterflies.  They were made with something new that Mandy at Scrappy-go-Lucky sent to me to try out a little while ago.  The photo at the top of this post is a sneak peek at a card I made using one of the butterflies.  You can read all about the card and how I cut the butterfly on the Scrappy-go-Lucky blog - just click HERE to see the full post.

  1. Very pretty butterflies! I'll have to see if I have anything close to it on any of my cricut cartridges. I looked at the site for the dies but it doesn't give US prices or shipping.

  3. 80. It was 102 in Central TX. HOT I will just have to spend the rest of Spring and then Summer inside. The best place of course is my hobby room.

Looks like it is going to be a beautiful card. When are we going to get to see the whole thing. I know that you are only teasing us with a beautiful corner.

Seriously Diane, I love your creations and YOU have helped me so much. Keep up the great work and a special THANK YOU for sharing your creations.

  5. Diane,
I love Spellbinder dies, but ran across these Cherry Lynn Die-namics dies a few months ago. I purchased several, and love them also. I love that they are made right here in the good ole USA. I will never give up my Spellbinders however, but am truly glad to have added these to my collection. Spellbinders has a few butterfly sets - one that just came out in their Summer Surprise group. Although I still think that there are prettier butterflies on several of the cricut cartridges and they can be sized to fit any need.

  7. Diane: I received my beuatiful butterfly and flowers in the mail this week as a result of participating in your blog play-along a couple weeks ago. THANK YOU! I was excited to see the butterflies in this post. I have today set aside for doing some scrapping since it is my kids' last day of school and who knows when I will get a day to myself again!
