More travels (and shopping tips to share...)

Believe it or not I am back in Pennsylvania!  I took our younger son back to college for his senior year and decided to have another quick visit with my Dad.  The day was spent packing, driving and unloading -  I did as much as I could with the sciatica problems I've been having and I will be happy to rest a day or two here with Dad before heading back home.

I have a few things to share tonight...

First, I want to remind you that time is almost up to order the August Deal of the Month from Creative Charms.  This deal has a choice of blue or pink but you will probably want both!  You must order by August 31st to get this deal.  Each set is $6.99 for a regular value of $23.  I am thinking of ordering another set of each color before time runs out...this was my favorite deal so far.  You can click HERE to go to the Deal of the Month page on their site.  I have seen the list for next month's deal and I can tell you that it will also have two options - and both are adorable!

On Tuesday I told you about the Dollar Days sale at Lettering Delights (you can click the image below or in the left side bar to visit the site).

Dollar Days

I want to share some additional discount codes that you can use if you shop the Dollar Days.

Take 10% off a $10 purchase with the coupon code SaveTen
Save 30% on a $25 purchase with the coupon code SaveThirty

These codes are good until midnight MDT on Wednesday September 1, 2010.

A few days ago, I was contacted by Marlo about a new product she came up with for storing Cricut cartridges, books and overlays.  The "Scrap'n Tote" will hold 36 cartridges along with some tools, paper and even a 12 x 12 mat.

I have not seen this product in person and I do not know Marlo, but I thought that this option for storing and transporting Cricut cartridges and supplies might appeal to some of my readers.  There is a special introductory price on this product of $49.99 (regular price to be $89.99) which is good until August 31st.  Here is a LINK to the website where you can get more information.

One more tip for you - I have mentioned this before but not for quite a while.  Are you familiar with Dover Publications?  They have been around since 1941 and offer a wide range of books and CDs with all sorts of wonderful images.  Every week they offer an assortment of sample images that you can download for free.  The image above is from the current sampler.  I'd love to use this on a card (and I would probably add some gems or Stickles to it!).

This LINK will take you to the design sampler for this week.  If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you can sign up to get a weekly email notice of the new samplers.

The photo at the top of this post is peek at another Halloween card.  I'll do the complete "show and tell" on that card tomorrow.

  2. I first came across Dover Pub. in the 1970's, then lost touch with them until about 10 years ago, when I thought "I bet they're online"...and they were of course! I love their books, CDs, and DVDs, and free images. They also have beautiful gift wrap and coloring books (not just for kids). thanks for all your creations and tips, and enjoy your visit! Sage
