Last Day Away...

I hope that some of you had a chance to try out the multi-layered flower from yesterday's post.  I will cut one of my own once I am home again.  Today is the last day of our trip - tomorrow we travel home.  I am just going to post a few photos from today - I think a lot of you will be able to figure out where I spent the day....

It's great to travel and it's great to go home.  I look forward to catching up on things at home and getting back to my craft room to cut out some of the projects I have been designing on my Gypsy while traveling.

  6. These are wonderful pictures. This is in NC? When I was there I went to a Revolutionary war battle field. It was pretty cool but not beautiful like this.

  11. I LOVE the Biltimore. My Master Gardener group took a 3 day bus trip the first part of June to a private home garden and the UT Knoxville gardens, The North Carolina Arboretum ( very much worth the trip ) and the Biltimore. It was a gardeners dream trip. I took almost 400 pictures. The Biltimore Is just sooo amazing. The wonderful innovations that were put in the house are just breathtaking to comprehend that this house was finished and lived in by the Vanderbilts in 1895.
