Home Again and Blog Hopping

Quite a few of you figured out that we were in Asheville and went to see Biltmore - the largest private home in America which was built by George Vanderbilt (one of the Vanderbilts) and finished in 1895.  Here is a LINK to their website where you can find out all about this very interesting destination.

These photos were taken early this morning by my husband (who is as much of an early bird as I am a night owl!) and then cropped and edited by me.

I am home now for at least a little while after being away for 14 of the last 16 days!  I have lots of exciting things coming up this week.

The first thing I need to let you know about is the Scrappy-Go-Lucky blog hop this week.  The last blog hop was a lot of fun so we are doing another one.  This time you will have the chance to win one of the four new cartridges, Country Life, Happy Hauntings, Rock Princess and Winter Frolic!

There are nine designers involved in the blog hop and each day one designer will show you the card they created in detail.  We were given a color scheme (black, white and silver) and a theme.  You will need to look at all of the cards and try to work out the theme.  Add a comment to Mandy's Original Post on the Scrappy-Go-Lucky blog telling her what you think the theme is and also list your all-time favorite cartridge and why it is your favorite.

Four lucky winners will be drawn on Wednesday, August 18th - one for each cartridge.  (Remember, Scrappy-Go-Lucky is in Australia so you will need to convert the time from Perth time).

Here is the schedule for the week:

Monday (today) was Mandy, the owner of Scrappy-Go-Lucky.  Here is a LINK to her post on the Scrappy-Go-Lucky blog - be sure to read this to get the background on the blog hop and see what Mandy is doing with the cards we created.

Tuesday - Jane at Scossie Jane

Wednesday - Diane at Capadia Designs (that's me!)

Thursday - Chloe at Chloe and her Clip on Koala

Friday - Tereesa at Up Late 2 Create

Saturday - Amanda at White Ruffles

Sunday - Tracey at Trace Elementz

Monday - Lisa and Tara back at Scrappy-Go-Lucky

Here is a sneak peek of my card...

Good luck on the blog hop!
