Last Minute Father's Day Card

Don't forget - Father's Day is this Sunday, June 15th! If you want a quick and easy card - here is a file for you! I used the 5 x 7 oval aperture template from my post on April 17th to create this card. If you want to try something different in the center, check out that post for directions on how to use these files. Quick Link to April 17th post

The photo above shows the cut before gluing - you can see that the card and the word "DAD" are cut from one piece of paper. You can back these with a precut mat (4 1/2 x 6 1/2) or even a 4 x 6 piece of patterned paper (I cut the dots behind the yellow version below using my new Dreamkuts machine!)

The green card is backed with a mat from the DCWV Spring Glitter stack.

These are just a couple of variations in color and pattern - no embellishing yet - use your imagination and make it fun for Dad! This file is set up for the Expression so I used Plantin Schoolbook (the card is too big for the baby bug mat).

  1. Your modesty and generosity in sharing this card is an example to us all. I know it is a simple card, but it takes quite a lot of time to design so Thank you! God Bless, Mary<><
