Many people have asked to see more of the photos that I took at CHA. I thought I'd post a few showing some of the interesting displays and people that you see at this sort of show. I loved this picket fence promotimg the Distress Stains - why have a plain white picket fence when you could have this!
It is exciting to see many of the people whose names are on the products that you use on a regular basis. Tim Holtz is extremely friendly and approachable - here he was signing a book for someone.
He spends long days demonstrating and talking to the show attendees about his products and how to use them. There was always a crowd around his area.
Dyan Reaveley was also in the Ranger booth- it was fascinating to watch her work.
She makes these incredible art journals - the detail is extraordinary (just click on the photo to see a larger image).
Some of the booths are very elaborate and eye catching. Doodlebug Designs won an award for their booth.
The neatly framed samples and the bright and cheery colors were very appealing.
The display was clean and simple so it was easy to see all of the items.
The little characters in the posters and the large cut outs peeking over the walls made the booth a fun place to visit.
October Afternoon displayed their line in this clever "Scrapbooking Saloon" complete with swinging doors.
Graphic 45 has large furniture pieces full of great samples made with the latest lines.
There were so many projects in the "Magic of Oz" display that they spilled out onto the floor area. I'll show some more close ups of these another day.
This Martha Stewart Crafts display showed some of the great party planning crafts and ideas. The "look" was pure Martha!
DCWV had wonderful Christmas trees (more on these later) and some room vignettes. The Christmas stockings and a great rocking chair gave a feeling of home.
The deer head on the fireplace wall was an interesting sliceform design.
Crate Paper had these large rosettes on their display to show off the latest paper lines.
Some of their samples were displayed using interesting props.
The brads displayed on the plate look like little candies.
These cute cards displayed in a frame are just a few of the samples I saw at the La La Land Stamps booth. Mandy carries this line of stamps at Scrappy-go-Lucky - they are great for coloring. You can see many more of the booth samples in my post on the Scrappy-go-Lucky blog

in the next week or so. Today I am flying home to Boston - it will be
good to get back and see my family. I also can't wait to try out some of my new ideas and
products.
