I have made 3D paper flower bouquets for teachers and friends, and I use cut files or simple hand made flower designs for those. When mailing them I like to use a die and use several layers of tissue paper. It makes a pretty flower that is not too bulky or heavy to put in an envelope and mail. The bulkier flowers are beautiful on handmade boxes using either dies, or one of my cutting machines. The boxes are beautiful and people love them!
