Yes, I think having too much can be overwhelming, but I don't think that is true for everyone. I find inspiration easily and just looking through a basket of tools can get me going. I should spend a little more time organizing, but I'm happy the way it is.Sandy #1781https://www.blogger.com/profile/06274743482295696354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3436715926498129740.post-62412831754169742852011-04-12T23:45:25.446-04:002011-04-12T23:45:25.446-04:00I agree with some of the others, crafting and coll...I agree with some of the others, crafting and collecting go together. I am trying to be more creative with what I have rather than just falling in love with so may things. In NH there is a CK convention coming up the end of the month and it will take all the will power I have not to go nuts and buy things ( a good stop would be nothing in the budget LOL ) I go back and forth btwn re-organizing and just saying the heck with it. I have taken over my husband's "Mantown" ( bar and tv/game room in the basement) just so I can see what I have to work with . when company comes need to pack up fast. I do get hooked on cricut carts but only when I find them for a really good price . swaping with family and friends helps keep the expense downpkornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10357310372026663437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3436715926498129740.post-85291801313717017812011-04-12T22:14:49.394-04:002011-04-12T22:14:49.394-04:00Wow...I can't believe you asked these question...Wow...I can't believe you asked these questions!!! And I ABSOLUTELY spend more time buying craft items than I actually do making them!!!!!! I don't collect by series per se, mostly I buy things that are a good buy. I am pretty well organized UNTIL I create--then, I am a Picasso in the craft area and everything is flying. Recently I have been making 'card kits' for my 8-year old grandson, who still likes to do crafts. I don't think I have "enough" but my family says I couldn't possibly need more. It isn't about a need as much as a want. I love seeing all the things people create and seem to want to get the same stuff so I can create such nice things too. I have limited time (because of my full time job) so I try and be ready to work once I sit down at the craft table. Thanks for adding some great things in the boxes today. I sure hope I win (as does everyone else). In a few paper brands (October Afternoon, Basic Grey, Bo Bunny, etc.) I do feel the desire to buy complete lines when they come out because then I have everything I want to coordinate together; however, I'm usually too frugal to spend the money on all of it.The Hopson Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12668739089666333816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3436715926498129740.post-75017361832741134592011-04-12T19:47:07.194-04:002011-04-12T19:47:07.194-04:00Well crafting has taken my collecting to an extrem...Well crafting has taken my collecting to an extreme. And for me it honestly has curtailed my creativity. Too much is too much. I love each of the new products and ideas but have become overburdened by just the storage problem. And once out of sight, out of mind so to speak. For me creativity comes from seeing, feeling, dreaming of the items available. Having them in a clutter becomes hopeless. BUT I am trying to organize better and cut back on purchases.Balouhahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08004563170616822933noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3436715926498129740.post-57589127183262582252011-04-12T19:05:29.232-04:002011-04-12T19:05:29.232-04:00This is my follower post.
